Susan Atkinson

Susan joined Batt Broadbent in December 2019 and is Head of the Private Client department based at the Salisbury office. She specialises in all areas of Private Client work including Probate and Estate Administration and has experience of dealing with complex and high net worth estates, together with a range of elderly client matters such as Deputy Applications to the Court of Protection, making Lasting Powers of Attorney and the preparation of Wills and Trusts.

Susan has experience of acting as attorney or deputy for a number of clients who are unable to manage their own affairs and assists clients undertaking this role themselves. Susan qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and has over 15 years’ experience in this field having practiced in the North West of England before moving to Hampshire. When Susan is not in the office she loves reading, listening to music and walking in the New Forest with her dog Holly who she regularly brings into the office to accompany her. She also enjoys seeing friends and family and has a keen interest in gardening and wildlife
