The Opportunity
As part of our succession planning, we are seeking an ambitious and commercially astute Head of Residential Property to lead and develop our established department. This is a senior leadership position offering a clear and achievable pathway to partnership.
The Role
You will take full responsibility for the residential property department, managing both operational performance and strategic growth. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, mentoring and developing the residential property team
- Managing a high-quality caseload including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
- Building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships
- Driving business development initiatives and contributing to the firm’s wider growth strategy
- Playing a key role in shaping the future direction of the department
About you
- Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in residential property law.
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience or clear readiness to step into a senior role.
- Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development.
- An existing client following or referrer network would be advantageous but not essential
- Ambition and capability to progress to partnership in the near term
